It Actually Saves To Not Change Oil Every 3,000 Miles

You probably get concerned about the costs to repair vehicle issues and pay for fuel and maybe you wonder what you could do to save on vehicle maintenance costs. One thing you could do is change your oil less frequently if you've been doing it every 3,000 miles. If you were to wait about 7,500 miles or 10,000 miles in between changes, think of how much you would save per year.

The New Vehicle Oil Change Standards

New vehicles are designed to go long periods such as 10,000 miles between oil changes, and changing it more frequently won't help. Choosing the right engine oil will though, and that's what we do at our dealership. You should go by what your vehicle manufacturer recommends in terms of when to change the oil.

When it is time to change the oil, we can do it quickly at Ray Price Ford. While we do that, we'll also check a few other things on your vehicle to make sure they're still working properly. All you have to do is just come by our Mount Pocono, PA location during our open hours to get an oil change.
