For drivers in the Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, and Scranton areas, the Ford F-150 has become a favorite among light duty pickup trucks. With the 2019 model soon to be released, it's no surprise that many of our Pocono Pines and Blakeslee area customers are asking us about what they can expect.

Check out this 2019 Ford F-150 review from Ray Price Ford for a brief overview of what we're most excited about with the newest iteration of this pickup.2019 Ford F-150 Engines

The 2019 Ford F-150 will continue the same engine lineup from the 2018 model, with five different engines to choose from:

  • 3.3L V6: 290 horsepower, 265 lb-ft of torque
  • 2.7L EcoBoost® V6: 325 horsepower, 400 lb-ft of torque
  • 3.5L EcoBoost® V6: 375 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque
  • 5.0L V8: 395 horsepower, 400 lb-ft of torque
  • 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 TurboDiesel: 250 horsepower, 440 lb-ft of torque

The 3.3L engine will be paired with a 6-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission, while the other four engines will have a 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission that improves towing capabilities. Both transmissions will include selectable drive modes that allow you to optimize performance whether you're tackling sand, snow, or the open highway.

2019 Ford F-150 Cargo and Configurations

The 2019 F-150 will offer several configurations, so that drivers can choose the right capabilities to suit their needs. It starts with the cargo box. There will be three options here, an 8-foot, 6.5-foot, or 5.5-foot box. Their cargo volumes are as follows:

  • 8-Foot Box Cargo Capacity: 77.4 cubic feet
  • 6.5-Foot Box Cargo Capacity: 62.3 cubic feet
  • 5.5-Foot Box Cargo Capacity: 52.8 cubic feet

If you need an extra hand getting something heavy into your truck bed, you can use the available stowable loading ramps to wheel your tractor, dolly, or anything else up into the bed.

You will also be able to choose between three different cabins: Regular Cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew. The Regular Cab will seat three passengers, while the SuperCab and SuperCrew will have enough seats for five passengers total.

These cabins will offer additional cargo space behind the front row. The regular cab will have 12.1 cubic feet of space. In the SuperCab, you'll have 31.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, and in the SuperCrew you'll have 51.9 cubic feet of interior cargo space.

Technology in the 2019 Ford F-150

In a 2019 truck, you can absolutely expect a suite of technology features that work hard to keep you at ease when on-the-road. These are features like the available SYNC® 3 system with 8-inch color touchscreen. With available Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ capabilities, you will be able to fully link your smartphone to your truck and enjoy hands-free phone calls and music streaming.

When you reach your destination, the expected available Integrated Trailer Brake Controller can help you dock your trailer by giving you the ability to steer whatever you're towing by simply turning the knob in the driver command center.
