The fabled Bronco name is finally back. If you've been craving a Bronco since their disappearance, now is your chance to act. There will be a few different variations of the Bronco name filtering back onto the streets of Tobyhanna, Mount Pocono, Scranton, Pocono Pines, and Blakeslee, PA. This 2021 Ford Bronco Sport review focuses on the tidy, adventurous, small SUV version of the fabled namesake.

The styling is easily adjustable for this model depending on the trim level you choose. There's also ample off-roading ability and punchy engine choices. At Ray Price Ford, you can experience all this in person with a test drive!

Enjoyable Performance and Easy Capability

The tidy dimensions of the Bronco Sport not only look clean and appealing, but they also help reduce heft, resulting in a curb weight well below 4,000 pounds. This fleet-footedness means both engine options for the 2021 Bronco Sport deliver zippy acceleration and easy passing ability.

The base option is a 1.5L EcoBoost® 3-cylinder engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Outputs reach up to 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. With the larger, optional 2.0L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder, you can expect 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Also, the 8-speed automatic for the 2.0L EcoBoost® includes SelectShift® with paddle shifters, giving you the chance to move through gears on your own whim.

The highest fuel economy comes from the base engine, which reaches an EPA-estimated 25 city/28 highway MPG. If towing is a routine activity for you, the maximum towing capacity with the larger engine is 2,200 pounds when properly equipped!

Go Where You Please

Off-roading has been a part of the core Bronco values since the model's debut. For the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, that go-anywhere, do-anything mentality is alive and well.

The standard Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ with G.O.A.T Modesâ„¢ usually attracts folks' attention first. With the use of a dial positioned by the cup holders, you can actively switch the driving dynamics of your SUV. When you do, performance alterations to the throttle control, torque output, and brake power take place. The five standard drive modes are Sand, Slippery, Eco, Sport, and Normal. You can also opt for the Badlands trim, which includes Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes.

Every trim of the 2021 Bronco Sport comes with standard 4X4 capabilities. If you want to take things up a couple of notches, there's the advanced 4X4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit.

This setup helps determine how much torque should be sent to each wheel based on your current driving scenario. If you're losing traction with the back right tire while off-roading, more torque will be sent to the other tires so you regain stability.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport Has Generated Tons of Excitement

There's much more to the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport than we were able to cover in this overview. If you want to get a feel for the model's driving dynamics of local roads around Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Scranton, Pocono Pines, and Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, we can certainly make that happen.
