Performance Specs
You'll find ample power in both the Ford EcoSport and Honda HR-V along with fuel-saving technology to increase efficiency.
In the EcoSport, the standard engine is a 1.0L EcoBoost®, which generates up to 123 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. If you want a boost in power and traction, then choose the 2.0L Ti-VCT engine, which comes equipped with Intelligent 4WD. With this upgraded system, the 2.0L engine produces up to 166 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque. Despite their different outputs, both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Honda HR-V consists of a single engine: a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that generates 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired with a CVT with Sport Mode, too. The HR-V engine prioritizes efficiency, though, with its Eco Assist™ System, a standard feature across all trim levels. Designed to help drivers develop eco-conscious driving habits, this system will monitor the HR-V's performance to provide feedback on how to adjust your driving style to be more fuel-efficient.
