Located in Lansford, PA, in the western part of Carbon Country, the No. 9 Mine and Museum is open for tours! This museum is a great place to learn about the history of the coal industry in Pennsylvania, as well as experience the mine and all its amenities, including an elevator with an intact hoist shaft and a hospital.
