If there's one thing nobody denies about the revived Ford GT, it's that it looks positively amazing. Low, svelt, and curvaceous in all the right places, it's a return to form for an automaker that's always prided itself on putting performance first. But how can the Blue Oval get away with putting V6 engine in what's being marketed as a super car?
The answer is quite simple: aerodynamics. In addition to the lightweight construction of the new GT, designers also opted to make sure every scoop and intake in the super car's body to have a function. The side scoops, for example, are there to help funnel air to cool the 3.5-liter engine in the rear, while a pop-up rear spoiler helps guide air over the back of the car to keep it stable.
